Metal work continues! If the goal on the car was to get it ‘good enough’, this stage would’ve been completed fairly quickly. For this car though, the goal was “as close to perfect as possible”, which means there was a bit more massaging, cutting and welding to go! Once that was done, it was time to start fitting components, most notably the drivetrain! As mentioned in the title, this project would be receiving a Nissan VQ35 engine from a late model 350Z, very apropos. Not only that, but a VQ35 stroked to 4.1 liters, complete with individual throttle bodies! This car sounds great, and goes fast!

That’s it for now! Thanks for reading! Come back for Part 2 where we will get back to getting the drivetrain permanently situated, and start fabbing up exhaust and other supporting components, among other things!
