1989 BMW 325i (E30)
It seems we’ve got this running theme of taking our customers cars and making them more fun. This BMW is no different! The biggest part of the work to this machine has gone on under the hood, where there’s now a Toyota 2JZ straight-six in the spot where the original BMW M20 straight-six used to sit. Other work was done to this car as well to prepare it for some high speed track ripping!
This swap actually had some minor speed bumps that needed negotiating, primarily stemming from the fact that the 2JZ is such a large engine and the E30 has a fairly small engine bay. Some things needed to be moved in order to accomodate the new engine, but with patience and plenty of looking at it, the 2JZ is mated to its new host without any problems!
